Barry and Paul Simpson
Barry Simpson began shooting more than thirty years ago, he has
a passion for game shooting particularly woodpigeon, which has been
a lifetime quarry. In the 1980's he was nominated for the Shooting
Times "Top Eleven" game shots.
Barry's many achievements in his competitive clay shooting career
have included the following titles: World and European FITASC sporting
champion, twice British sporting champion, English and British FITASC
sporting champion and Classic sporting champion. He has represented
England and Great Britain many times as a member of the Sporting

Sporting Championship, and proudly repeated this in 1994 with his
own son Paul.
As a former sales representative for GMK who import Beretta, Sako and
Le Chameau as well as Leupold scopes he can offer a broad and in-depth
knowledge of the shooting industry as a whole.
Paul Simpson has over ten years shooting experience, as an all

junior FITASC sporting champion, twice English open sporting champion,

represented Great Britain as a junior, winning two team gold medals
at FITASC sporting and was victorious in Home International four
times.
Paul is a keen game and pigeon shot, having early success with
a Beretta 20 bore on pigeon, and achieved over 5 hundred days by
the time he was fifteen years old. His biggest bag being one hundred
and fifty four.

rabbits, rats and pigeons with varying success levels.
Service in the shop
We like to think that the advice offered on clay shooting, such
as the suitability of guns and cartridges, choice of glasses, hearing
protection along with the technical know-how about how to shoot
certain targets, matches that of any shop in the country.
Regular contact with local and national grounds provides the shooter
with shoot event information.
For newcomers to the sport, advice on where to participate, and
also the types and level of targets offered at grounds is also available.
On the game shooting side, advice is offered again on gun and
cartridge suitability. Importantly the needs of the game shot are
fully understood due to practical experience, therefore sound advice
upon clothing and footwear stocked is very much a feature of the
service offered.
